Dr Danielle Esler
Danielle Esler is a public health physician and GP living in Melbourne. She spent ten years working at the primary care- public health Indigenous health interface in northern Australia before moving down south in 2014. She currently works for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service in the realm of donor health. Danielle is well versed in the challenges faced by medical parents. She co-parents her three children (aged 3, 7 and 9) with her psychiatrist husband. She is a passionate advocate for flexible work hours and flexible training pathways as a means to promote a healthy balance between professional and home lives of medical parents.
